The Saturn brazier is a joy for barbecues-, Plancha- and wood fire-lovers.

The design of the Saturn brazier is cup-shaped on a corten steel base. The circular cooking plate (100 cm ring) is made of 10 mm thick carbon steel. Steel is an excellent conductor and is suitable for all types of food: meat, grilled meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, etc. By making a wood or charcoal fire in the centre of the brazier, the cooking plate heats from the centre outwards.

Cooking temperatures are higher the closer the food is to the inside and gradually decrease towards the outer edges, so that a variety of foods can be cooked at different temperatures at the same time. The base of the Saturn brazier provides storage for the logs. With air vent for easy control of fire power and cooking temperature. Ash drawer included.

The Simogas Saturn fire basket can also be used outdoors as a heat source to create an atmosphere "around the fire".

Corten steel is a steel that is resistant to high temperature variations and corrosion. Corten steel oxidises on the surface and it is this first layer of corrosion that prevents further deterioration due to corrosion. The Saturn Brazier can be left outside all year round without the need for protection.

Cleaning and maintenance : Cleaning the plate is quick and easy: pour a glass of water or ice cubes (deglazing) on the plate while it is still hot and scrape with a spatula to remove any residue. Don't hesitate to scrub well.

IMPORTANT: Once the griddle has cooled down, always oil the griddle (food oil of your choice) after each use, so that it does not oxidise. We advise you not to use vinegar or any other acidic product on your plate.
The cup and the base in corten steel do not require any maintenance.
